Holiday Pass along Plate

if you are looking for something to give with treats, this is a neat idea. the plate i saw in a magazine was manufactured but i really liked the concept so i made one of my own. i went to walmart and found a clear glass plate, mod podge and some fabric. i printed the poem onto an iron-on transfer and ironed it onto the fabric i wanted to use. then i just simply mod podged the fabic onto the glass plate. i had to make sure that the edges were glued really well so they wouldn't peel up. (you could just pull the fabric off otherwise). then i let it dry and there you go....... you probably can't submerge this into water but you could wipe it off with a wet rag, so cookies or something to that effect wouldn't be hard to clean off and then pass the plate on.
